About Dr. Sarah Abedi

Sarah Abedi is an emergency

medicine physician and psychedelic clinical research scientist. She is a part of the founding team at the Psychedelic Research and Education Center at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs (VA). She is also part of the FDA monitored phase two clinical trial which is assessing psilocybin’s effectiveness in treating depression at Pacific Brain Health’s Treatment & Research In Psychedelics Program (TRIP). 

 

She is certified as a Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA-Assisted Therapist. She has completed training at the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). She is also involved in state and local psychedelic legislation policy in California, Colorado, and Oregon. She is the co-founder of the integrative mental health institute Onea.
